On October 4, 2014, I was invited to attend a student journalism workshop organized by the DZUP Radio Circle. It was called Elevate 3.0 and it was held in Malcom Hall's theatre and in UPIS. The whole experiance was fun because I experienced it with some of my batchmates and other students from other schools.
There were many courses for the event. I can't remember some of them but there were news writing, editorial, sports writing, and photojournalism. I took photojournalism. We didn't learn how to work a camera because it was already expected that we know how to. We learnt about what to shoot, how to be creative with what we shoot, and what photojournalism exactly is.
Our instructor told us to go out and take photos of what would say "UP". Because I missed taking pictures, I took a whole lot. I tried taking pictures of people, trees, and the scenery. I only walked up to Law though. We were told to go out but we couldn't go far from UPIS.
